چکیده

Rhizoctonia solani is a necrotrophic fungal pathogen that causes disease in diverse plant species. In recent years, the genomic and transcriptomic studies have identified several candidate pathogenicity determinants of R. solani; however, most them remain to be validated. this study, we report viral vector-based host-induced gene silencing (HIGS) as well dsRNA (double-stranded RNA)-based approach effectively downregulate genes AG1-IA (BRS1 strain) during pathogenesis tomato. We tested few in-planta upregulated observed one them, i.e., RS_CRZ1 (a C2H2 type zinc finger transcription factor) significantly compromises The RS_CRZ1-silenced plants not only exhibited significant reduction symptoms, but depth colonization was also compromised. Furthermore, were coregulated with process. HIGS-mediated [CL1756Contig1; subtilisin-like protease CL1817Contig2; 2OG-Fe(II) oxygenase] compromised ectopic expression complemented crz1 mutant yeast restored tolerance against various metal ion stress. Overall, our study reveals importance managing hostile environment encountered host colonization. Also, it emphasizes relevance HIGS dsRNA-based toward functional characterization solani. The nsdC gene encoding a putative C2H2-type transcription factor is a key activator of sexual development in Aspergillus nidulans.

The formation of the Aspergillus nidulans fruiting body is affected by a number of genetic and environmental factors. Here, the nsdC (never in sexual development) gene-encoding a putative transcription factor carrying a novel type of zinc-finger DNA-binding domain consisting of two C(2)H(2)'s and a C(2)HC motif that are highly conserved in most fungi but not in plants or animals-was investigate...

t-helper cell type-1 transcription factor t-bet is down-regulated in type 1 diabetes

t cells have been identified as key players in the pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes. however, the exact role of t-cell subpopulations in this pathway is presently unknown. the purpose of this study was to assess the expression pattern of two lineage-specifying transcription factors gata - 3 and t - bet , which are important in t helper type 1 (th1) and th2 cell development , respectively. gene e...

Identification of a cis-acting element of ART1, a C2H2-type zinc-finger transcription factor for aluminum tolerance in rice.

Rice (Oryza sativa) is one of the most aluminum (Al)-tolerant species among small-grain cereals. Recent identification of a transcription factor AL RESISTANCE TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR1 (ART1) revealed that this high Al tolerance in rice is achieved by multiple genes involved in detoxification of Al at different cellular levels. ART1 is a C2H2-type zinc-finger transcription factor and regulates the ...

Evidence that transcription factor IIB is required for a post-assembly step in transcription initiation.

Mutation of glutamate 62 to lysine in yeast transcription factor (TF) IIB (Sua7) causes a cold-sensitive phenotype. This mutant also leads to preferential transcription of downstream start sites on some promoters in vivo. To explore the molecular nature of these phenotypes, the TFIIB E62K mutant was characterized in vitro. The mutant interacts with TATA-binding protein normally. In three differ...
